Dance Marathon at the University of Florida stands out as the most successful student-run philanthropy in the southeast United States. Since 1995, it has raised over 30 million dollars for children at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.

Yearly, more than 800 students participate by staying awake and on their feet to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
